Oversees financial department employees.

Contracts outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.

Tracks the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.

Seeks out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.

Researches and analyzes financial reports and market trends.

Provides insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

Reviews financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Maintains current technological advances and financial software.

Establishes and maintains financial policies and procedures for the company.

• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field

• Specific manufacturing/small business manufacturing knowledge – costing methods, reporting, modeling operational finance experience/training, etc.

• Epicor/ERP system exposure

• At least 3 years of experience in a finance role

• Superior computer and mathematical skills and attention to detail

• Leadership skills and experience

• Understanding of data privacy standards

• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

• Deep understanding of business principles and practices

• Organizational, planning, research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
