About the job

Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating
and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.

Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and regularly uses discretion to filter
communications to the store team.

Schedules and manages employee work hours, vacation requests and store labor hours.

Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining and separation of staff at the store.

Conducts and oversees the training of all new employees as well as the re-training of existing
employees when needed.

Informs employees of new updates and general developments in the company.

Constantly reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and
opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to the store team to achieve
operational goals.

Manages store inventory levels and places store orders as necessary or directed by Owner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • College degree and/or coursework related to food service/hospitality industry preferred.

  • Any professional certification related to food service/hospitality industry preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory role within retail/restaurant industry preferred.

  • Must be able to work/manage within fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • Strong leadership skills, ability to coach/mentor others

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of customer service techniques
