Contacts prospects to gather complete information; qualifies accounts and conducts needs analyses.
Responsible for development of sales leads through research, networking and cold calling. Identification and qualification of business opportunities.
Helps drive sales with new and existing accounts to increase revenue.
Uses CRM system to maintain and expand the database of the organization. Records account information, contact details, tracks sales-related tasks, leads, prospects and opportunities.
Prepares quotations, generates orders and communicates pertinent information to existing clients on delivery, confirmations and schedule.
Provides weekly sales log/account activity status to management. Documents customer and competitive feedback as acquired.
Assists customers with technical and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a B2B environment with proven success in prospecting
Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline (engineering, chemistry, or EH&S)
Knowledge of oil and gas market a plus
Knowledge of Sandler selling system a plus
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent telephone sales personality skills and assertiveness
Strong time management skills. High energy, self-starter
Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
